Solstice at Crucuno Rectangle, "Carnac"

What you see is what you get: A photo of the solstice sunrise across the diagonal of the megalithic rectangle, against the odds (even French TV cancelled covering it!) plus a rainbow to follow as the rain came in opposite the sunrise (a solsticial rainrise?).

The sunrise in the summer appears between stones 6 and 7, when viewed from the opposite corner on the solstice, as in the first photo above. At the latitude of Crucuno, the sun's solstice angle relative to east-west, rises and sets on the 5 diagonal of a 3:4:5 triangle. Clever megalith tricks all built in megalithic yards, surveyed by Alexander Thom.
